About the act



Effective January 1, 2020, California Consumers have certain rights under the California Consumer Protection Act (CCPA). This page provides links to our CCPA privacy notices, CCPA Subject Access Request Forms, as well as other resources and information to help our customers comply with the CCPA.



Altus Group and CCPA compliance



Altus Group Limited, and its subsidiaries (including ARGUS Software), affiliates and related entities (collectively “Altus Group”) are committed to complying with applicable obligations under the CCPA for its products and services (“Products”).



Compliance is a shared responsibility


CCPA compliance does not rest solely with Altus Group. Responsibility also rests with our customers, who must ensure they have processes and procedures in place to ensure they are able to comply with the CCPA. Our Products contain features which can help ensure a customer can manage and administer personal information they store within the Product. Furthermore, our customers must ensure they have implemented appropriate security controls and processes in relation to their installation, use and access of our Products.

In addition to the best in class and industry leading features available in our Products, our software Products also contain features which allow customers to:

  • Access the personal information stored in the product

  • Rectify personal information

  • Erase personal information

  • Export personal information

  • Administer and restrict access to personal information

CCPA privacy notice



Please review our Privacy Policy and the California Resident Privacy Notice applicable to California Consumers that are subject to the CCPA.Additionally, Altus Group’s job applicants, employees, and contractors can access and review our CCPA Job Applicant/Employee/Contractor Privacy Notice.



Altus Group certifications


The protection of our client’s personal information is important to us. Our cloud Products undergo third party information security/compliance reviews. ARGUS Voyanta® is ISO 27001 certified and ARGUS On Demand is SOC II compliant. Other ARGUS products undergo information security reviews and are developed in accordance with industry appropriate practices.



CCPA subject access


Effective January 1, 2020, California residents have certain rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including rights to access and delete Personal Information that Altus Group Limited, and its subsidiaries (including ARGUS Software), affiliates and related entities (“Altus Group” or “we” or “us”) may have collected or received from you.

If you are a California resident covered by the CCPA, please complete this form if you want us to administer a subject access request for you in accordance with the CCPA. Your rights to access and delete your Personal Information may be limited under certain provisions of the CCPA. Please see our Privacy Policy, including the CCPA Privacy Notice for more details.

When fulfilling your request, we will not provide pieces of information that are prohibited or protected by law.
